Net Neutrality (Public Writing)
A subject that is recently holding a large debate is net neutrality. Net neutrality is the policy that reserves anyone their right to a free and open internet experience ( search engines, social networking, blogging, etc. ). Our countries big telephone and cable companies are wanting to be the ones who control our internet. They want to tax users for certain purposes, decide which websites will load fast, decide which websites will load slow, all so they can guarantee a fast working experience for their programs while they push their competitors into the shadows. Instead of the internet being equal for everyone and having anything a user wants at their finger tips, they are changing the idea of the internet, and putting it at risk. This would put restrictions on certain information, competition, and overall innovation that the internet provides to us. The user's choice would be canceled out, and in turn left up to the ideas of big companies. This is something that could hold a huge impact on our society and our economic future.

This is a good subject man. I think its wrong for someone to control the internet like that. It should be a open forum for people to place information and to receive it.
